The star of badminton started shining right from the age of 16 by winning the Asian Satellite Badminton Tournament twice. She also won a 4-star tournament called Philippines Open. She was the first Indian female and the youngest Asian to do so. Despite her injuries she recently bagged a bronze medal at the Badminton Asia Championship. She is constantly working hard and putting in best of her efforts to give pride to her nation.

She has achieved many medals and has a flourishing career ahead. At the Olympics, she got a bronze medal in 2012. She grabbed a silver medal at the World Championship in 2015. She has gained bronze medals at the Asian Championships, Uber Cup as well as at Asian Games. Saina bagged gold, silver and bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games. At World Junior Championships and Commonwealth Youth Games, she earned gold and silver medals.
